Return and Exchange Policy


All products sold by are covered by a 30-day return period. Policies regarding products that are not covered by the 30-day return period are specified in the special exceptions section below. All exchanges and returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, and your RMA must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Thereafter, all sales are final. You may obtain an RMA number by contacting Customer Service.


Please be aware of the following:

  • If your item is defective we will be happy to exchange it for you or have it replaced under warranty.
  • If you are returning your item because it was damaged in shipping please let us know so we can file a claim with the shipping carrier and get you a replacement.
  • Otherwise products must be in factory sealed, never opened, resalable condition to qualify for a full refund. Returns of opened products for refund will incur an 15% restocking fee including defective items.
  • Items returned in unopened resalable condition will receive a full refund MINUS cost to originally ship the order. This means that items that had ""Free Shipping"" are still subject a refund minus the actual cost of shipping.
  • All claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within 7 days of delivery of merchandise.
  • Items returned without communication after 30 days will be considered abandoned and become the property of

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS does not pay any postage (to or from, taxes, duties and/or brokerage fees) on international returns and replacements. All transportation costs are the buyer's responsibility.


Customer is responsible for transportation of the item back to (this includes return shipping for our non-local customers). For replacement of product within the United States will pay for shipping of the new replacement item back to the customer.


The following products are not eligible for return and will be returned at the senders cost and expense if received:

  • Any product not purchased from VRT Audio.
  • Any products with missing, damaged or altered serial numbers.
  • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included.
  • Any product that has been serviced without our express permission.
